Rest Day, Caloundra

Yesterday was my (Denise) parent’s 50th wedding anniversary and today we had a celebration in their honour. Forty-nine relatives and friends gathered together for a buffet lunch.

The guests included Mum and Dad’s siblings and their partners; all their children and their partners; and all eleven grandchildren. This was the first time for a very long time that we had all been together. (Photos courtesy of Heather Rollo)

We spent the evening visiting Mark’s brother in Maroochydore. Our plan is to spend the next few days in Caloundra having a rest, cleaning the bikes, and catching up with bookwork and jobs that didn’t get done before we left home.
