Bicheno
After looking at the weather forecast last night we decided to stay the day in Bicheno. The forecast was for rain and northerly winds, which was not that attractive since we are heading north. Sunday’s forecast was more favourable with only 1mm of rain and southeasterly winds which will be more conducive to our ride to St Helens.
At least a day in Bicheno will allow us to have a look around instead of just passing through.
It did not rain today after all.
It did, however, rain during the night and was still raining when we got up this morning. As we prepared to leave at 9.00am it was still raining and as we were both very indecisive about whether we wanted to go out and play in the rain we agreed to call a 'rain day' and stay another day in Bicheno.

Hello Mark & Denise,
I have had a look at your travelling site and I am addicted!!
I have read almost every entry and looked at every photo!! Mark you didn't take a photo of you war wound from falling over the handle bars. Gee Denise you are so busy and so so organised! In every photo Mark takes your either busy putting up the tent, cooking dinner, washing the clothes, peddling away or doing a diary entry. I really love the photos when Denise is having a relax on the picnic bench or on the side of the road!! Rest well deserved!!
Your photos are amazing! You have really inspired [us] to take a few trips in different places around Australia by just looking at your photos and the great adventures and stories you both have had.
I will be keeping an eye on you both over the next few months and hope you have a safe trip the rest of the way! Look out for those hills in Tazzy!!!! Safe travelling. :)
