Sydney to Campbelltown

We cheated today and caught the train to Campbelltown. The main reason for this was that we could not find a low traffic route across the city. However, traveling by city trains with two bicycles and two BOB trailers is not that easy. To start with, the bikes and trailers need to be split and moved between the concourse and the platform using the lift. Not the easiest thing to do at a busy railway station. Secondly, when the bikes and trailers are joined their length is exactly the internal width of a train with the doors closed. So if the doors close before the trailers have been taken off the bike we block the corridor and it is extremely hard to take the trailer off. Needless to say the doors always closed before we had taken the trailers off the bikes.

Zoom into the map and use the 'Satellite' layer to see our new location.
