Day 007, Saturday, 4 April, 2009

Distance travelled – 0 km
Avg speed – 0 kph
Max speed – 0 kph

As we both have not been to Newcastle before we decided to stay an extra day. After a late start we headed off to the Ferry and a ride along the harbour and a look at all the new developments.

We caught the ferry across to Newcastle with a couple from South Korea who were riding from Brisbane to Sydney. They definitely knew how to travel light carrying a fraction of what we have with us. Although we have decided to off load a few items I think we both like our comforts too much to lighten the load as much as our cycling colleagues from South Korea

Zoom into the map to see our new location.
