Stanley to Wynyard

The reverse trip to the one we undertook last Wednesday but in far better weather. The fine weather meant we took time to stop and look, whereas on Wednesday we just rode to get out of the cold and rain. Even though we stopped to admire the view and chat today we still completed the journey one hour quicker than last Wednesday.

One place we stopped was at Crayfish Creek a small hamlet of shacks and holiday houses overlooking the Port Latta wharf. We commented to one of the locals how much we had been enjoying our ride along the coast in particular the Old Bass Highway between Ulverstone and Penguin. His reply says it all “Ye..ep, that’s a bit of alright!”.

Zoom into the map and use the 'Satellite' layer to see our new location.

"Fresh Fish Drinks". Needless to say we did not stop!
